St. Luke's Wild Med
April 17-19, 2019
Surviving the Wild, Saving the Sick
We are pleased to bring you the 8th annual St Luke's Wilderness Medicine Conference! We will be hosting this year's conference from April 17-19, 2019 at the Bear Creek Mountain Resort in the Pocono Mountains (30 min from Bethlehem, 1 hour from Philly, 2 hours from NYC).
Our theme this year is Travel and Exotic Medicine. We have several exciting lecturers this year including survivalist Marco Yuracheck who will, in addition to teaching several of our survival workshops, be offering an overnight wilderness excursion on the last day of the conference that will allow participants to utilize many of the skills that will be learned throughout the conference. (Click here for more information)
Our diverse curriculum for this year includes: Expedition Medicine, Trauma Management in the Wild, Wilderness Toxicology and more. We are also excited to include an interactive Wilderness Medicine Adventure Race for all attendees that desire to put their skills to the test in a range of engaging simulated scenarios.
Whether you attend our conference for CME credit or are working on your FAWM, this is the place to come to learn survival techniques, expand your knowledge in medicine and have fun!
